Pocket Sword

PocketSword does not come installed with much, just the King James version of the Bible and a commentary. However, PocketSword is popular because it’s highly expandable, which makes it potentially comprehensive. There are a number of open-source modules that you can download for offline use. These modules include commentaries, dictionaries, maps and daily devotionals.

The Reformation Study Bible

The Reformation Study Bible, General Editor Dr. R.C. Sproul, is a tremendous resource created by more than fifty scholars and featuring more than 20,000 study notes on Bible verses and terms.

eBible

A fantastic Bible app that allows you to cross sync your Bible notes via the web, iPad & iPhone. Very pleasing to the eyes and great to read and work from. A must have.

Holy Bible by Paul Avery

Holy Bible is the easiest to use Bible app with many different Bible translations. Each one downloads right to the device so you’ll never need an internet connection after that.

Note: I will not be adding any copyrighted texts such as the NIV, NASB, NKJV, etc. (1) Royalty fees include an expensive up-front cost. Unless you want to send me a large check, this is not an option. (2) Most royalties require a percentage from each sale as well. I’m a full-time missionary, not an iPhone developer.
